11 14 of you) Anyone wanna see New Moon again? Okay, there are a few criteria. Airfare and long driving can't be involved. I lack time and money (see point number three above for a big clue as to why we're flat broke). Er..so let me revise my question - Anyone in Southern Ontario wanna catch New Moon with a fellow Twitard? Think of it as a run-up to Twitarded Con. Anybody? Anybody?

- None of my friends are into Twilight. None. They all think I'm bat shit crazy if I bring it up.
- My husband is knee deep in school work. My husband also thinks twilight is fluff. Although he patiently puts up with my Twitardedness so long as I keep the drooling about RPattz to a minimum.

I feel your pain, man. Since going out of the country is a little 'out of my box' right now, I have to decline the invite...but otherwise I would have obliged. I hate to see a fellow twitard in pain. Drag your husband in return for sexual favors...that's the only advice I can offer...LOL!!!
We definitely need to find a Twitard in your area! F-Kat and I discovered over on Twitarded that we only live about 30 minutes apart (San Diego area), and now we're getting together for the second time tomorrow night to go see New Moon again. Don't give up hope...
I sympathize with you here! I have no Twilight friends in the area, and I'm single so I can't even bribe my man to go. :( However, I have embraced it and all my theater viewings of Twilight and New Moon were solo. It's not that bad, really!
I'm with you. My neighbor is the one that got me addicted to Twistuff & now she's backing off & has decided that Rob is no longer hot. WTF is up with that. It is seriously no fun talking twi with her anymore. Unfortunately, I am on the east cost. Sux - I need a COOL twifriend.

@Sabrina - I'm so sorry for your loss. Actually, it's her loss. She's not as cool as she thinks she is. That or she's fallen further into the rabbit hole and is using the whole "I don't think Rob is hawt" attitude as a cover up for how much she does love Rob. Denial ain't just a river in Egypt. I'm sure if we lived closer we'd be Twitards together.
@mysharona - Um - no...tragically nothing of substance out there. I'm just randomly posting occasional twi-related thoughts thus far. I would love to dive into organizing stuff - but I honestly can't do too much w/out JJ and STY. I tend to think that their input is crucial to this thing and I don't want to step on any toes (well any more than I already have :P). And if nothing happens then I'll just organize my own lil local Twitarded Con with local gals (if I can ever find one)
I'm a little too far away in BC if I was closer I'd make the drive and drag you out. Damn straight!

@StarlitViolets - I know the Twitard twatwaffles that you speak of :) Twilove1 and F-Kat found each other first, and then I "met" Twilove1 and Z Any Mouse through Twitarded and got to know them better through my tiny blog. I started to notice the Southern California references and mentioned it to them. The rest, as they say, is history. I feel like a matchmaker. A jealous one, but one nonetheless ;)
I am happy to report that through Twitarded, I discovered that Mary at The Cougar’s Den is only about three hours away from me. Not great, but totally driveable. She invited me to her New Moon DVD release party, which is awesome. Now I just have to get back in time from my son's college baseball spring training trip so that I can go.
This doesn't help you Twi-Swears, I know, and I'm sorry. Something's going to come up. Hang in there!

Lucky bitches. That's okay. I'm going to go see it Monday or Tuesday this week. I don't care if I'm by my lonesome. I'll just wear my twitarded shirt and hope I mean another twatwaffle. I'm going to do a double feature. Twilight at home - new moon in theatre.

I would LOVE to actually have a Twitardedcon for Eclipse, so hopefully JJ & STY will be in agreement. Selfishly, I hope it's somewhere within a day's drive like Las Vegas or LA, but a Twatwaffle can only hope.

Actually, I just found out that red_bella is in my state, I believe, and she said she'd like to hang for either the NM DVD release or Eclipse. We'll go to that "swanky" over 21 theater with the leather seats, wide aisles, and a popcorn butter bar. Oh yeah!
I also have reason to believe there may be a certain VitaminR in my neck of the woods - so we may have to recruit her too. :)

I've seen New Moon by myself twice now, and I honestly don't mind it at all!!! I kind of like being able to smile and get all cheesy happy over it without being paranoid that my friends sitting next to me are looking at my like I'm a psycho!

I promise if I win the lottery - @yarnslinger & I will fly up..stay at some fab hotel - with like a huge suite..we'll whisk you out for a little shopping spree - maybe some PJs with cupcakes on it..then we'll all get a teeny tattoo followed by some amazing ridic expensive dinner - and then to see New Moon..Back to the suite for some drunk knitting, tweeting, general fuckawesome hellish-ness..Wake up by Noon - shower and then off to the first Matinee! Then we'll all fly out to wherever we think RPattz is hiding. and buy more shit!
