Right, so I'm addressing all you twat waffles for a reason.
You guys are a bunch of funny bitches and I want to meet all you crazy gals in person. For reals. And I want to go watch Eclipse and squee together. I want to get drunk with you twitards cause I strongly suspect that MAJOR chaos could ensue and I like that idea.
So I'm dipping my baby toe into the blogosphere to see what your thoughts are. Should we make Twitarded Con 2010 happen? Where do you want to hang out? Should we do one location or hold simultaneous Twitard Cons (east coast, west coast, etc)? What else would you want to see at a Twitarded Con (apart from the obvious that I've mentioned) And last but not least - what's your fav kind of drink? No really. I'm thinking we might have to warn whatever hotel we're going to desecend on to start stocking up.

This definitely needs to happen!! Las Vegas might be a good location because flights & hotels are cheap, or maybe if it's in Los Angeles, STY and JJ could talk their new BFF PFach into making an appearance. I know you'll win him over when you have dinner with him!
Phew! Well that's a relief! Glad that you find it funny. I was a wee bit worried about stepping on your toes. I thought I might have been a lil bit bold in calling it Twitarded Con 2010. But I'm like that so...
Seriously though, once there's some feedback, and after we've all finished squee-ing about New Moon, I'm more than happy to help/lead/do whatever with the organizing and I'll post it all here!

I'm so there!! Really!! I can be on a coordinating committee if you like and if there is one. I want to help. I used to work at the Atlant Convention and Visitors Bureau... so maybe I can help with meeting planning / convention related coordination...
Any location is good with me. You name the place and I'll be there... from Forks to Las Vegas to Key West to Chicago to Atlanta to New Jersey -- um, you get my point.
My favorite kind of drink? Other than red wine, I'd say a Stoli martinee, on the rocks, with three olives. =) Mmmmmmmmm....

I hope this doesn't get me thrown out of Twitardia but I do not drink - gasp - I know - never have, never will. I will be the designated whatever we need to make sure we don't get thrown out of wherever we are, I guess.

So many possibilities, here: Forks, Port Angeles, Portland, Vancouver, Phoenix (we could stop by and say hello to Steph), Las Vegas (perfect place for our Robsinful behavior), LA-LA Land (good call Twilove1 on including our beloved PFach), Chicago (close to home for me, and I'm sure Oprah would want to meet our fearless leaders), New York (I could see us lined up and SQUEEING for The Today Show cameras now). It really doesn't matter, as long as JJ & STY are there.
3 - Should we do one location or hold simultaneous Twitard Cons (east coast, west coast, etc)?
My vote would be for one location so we can fill the seats and capture that midnight showing kind of excitement (spoilers included).
4 - What else would you want to see at a Twitarded Con (apart from the obvious that I've mentioned).
a - Special edition Twitarded t-shirts (black with white logo so they won't show alcohol spills, etc., when we wear them multiple days)
b - Professional photographer for our group photo :)
c - How about a Twitard Trivia Night? Teams drawn at random; questions with answers that can only be found on the Twitard blog site.
d - Rob (Hey, a girl can dream, can't she?!)

Yeah I've been pushing for Vegas for all those reasons too, but selfishly also cuz I'd be able to drive the 300 or so miles, so it feels a bit self serving to point out things like their cheap hotel/flight weekend packages and abundance of facilities .....

I'm up for anything that will take place in Canada. Multiple Cons are a cool idea, gives fellow Twitards who cant travel due to jobs, kids, etc. the ability to visit a local gathering of the masses.

Don't laugh too hard, but for the history buffs I've got powerpoint shows for "Growing up Edward" and "Growing up Carlisle" that I did for a Twi con that was cancelled. Love those 17th century bloomers!

Ya know - I've been thinking about where we should do this and I've had two thoughts.
1)STY and JJ need to not only have final say. But their ideas are needed to get started. So just hold your horses.
2)Vegas? In June? Isn't that going to be hot? The only reason I want to be melting is cause RPattz is 2 feet away from me. I'm Canadian people - I don't do hot. I think also if we went somewhere like NY, we'd have more of a chance of a cast encounter.

@mysharona - yeah NY is my vote too! Never seen it. And WAY closer for me and I could get a cheap flight. Plus that way JJ and STY don't have to travel.
Not to stick my nose in where it doesn't belong (that's what she said), but I found this post and am totally excited about this prospect! Has anything been decided since this post? My sister-in-law and I have talked about how awesome NYC would be for the premiere, especially since most of the cast will probably be there promoting. I am offering my services (that's also what she said) if any help is needed for this! I'm an event planner, and I'm willing to do some grunt work (yeah, I don't think I need to say it again). :o)
